London 11+ Consortium assessment

100-minute online exam in multiple sections:

• Maths – (20 minutes) based on the National Curriculum for Year 5, will not test anything on the Year 6 curriculum 
• Non-verbal reasoning – (10 minutes) assessment of the candidate’s ability to identify patterns & think logically 
• English comprehension – (20 minutes) piece of fiction which is written especially for the Consortium exams, no extended writing is required 
• Verbal reasoning – (10 minutes) assessment of a candidate’s ability to identify the correct use of standard English in context 
• Break – (30 minutes) 
• Puzzles & problem-solving – (15 minutes) tests the ability of candidates to use words & numbers to solve multi-step problems 
• Creative comprehension – (25 minutes) candidates have to use information from a variety of different sources to answer questions
