What is in the 11+ non-verbal reasoning exam?
Question types can vary depending on which school, area or exam board produced the 11+ paper.

How to solve non-verbal reasoning questions
To help work out the answer to most non-verbal reasoning questions, we can ask the following questions:
- How many shapes does each figure have?
- How big or small is each figure?
- Is each figure shaded or not?
- What kind of outline does each figure have?
- In which direction is each figure pointing?
- Where are the shapes of each figure positioned?
- Do shapes overlap or not in each figure?
- Do any of the figures have any lines of symmetry?
