To help work out the answer to most non-verbal reasoning questions, we can ask the following questions:

What kind of outline does each figure have?
In which direction is each figure pointing?
Where are the shapes of each figure positioned?
Do shapes overlap or not in each figure?
Do any of the figures have any lines of symmetry?
