Stage One of the Wycombe Abbey 11+ admissions process is the CAT4 pre-test, which consists of four sections: verbal reasoning, non-verbal reasoning, spatial reasoning, and quantitive reasoning.

Within these subsections there are 8 short tests:

• Figure Classification (10 mins)
• Figure Matrices (10 mins)
• Verbal Classification (8 mins)
• Verbal Analogies (8 mins)
• Number Analogies (10 mins)
• Number Series (8 mins)
• Figure Analysis (9 mins)
• Figure Recognition (9 mins)

Stage Two of their admissions process is the Assessment Day, which has an entrance exam, an interview, and small group activities.

This entrance exam has an English paper (1 hour) and a maths paper (1 hour). These papers follow the National Curriculum for Key Stage 2 learning.
