2 papers lasting about 1 hour each. Both papers are written by GL assessment, and all the questions are multiple-choice.

Paper 1:

• English – a 5-minute practice followed by a 25-minute test involving a comprehension exercise and literacy skill questions
• Maths – a 5-minute practice followed by a 25-minute test 

Paper 2:

• Verbal reasoning 
• Non-verbal reasoning split up into short sections that will be administered and timed individually

There will also be a 40-minute writing exercise, including a 10-minute planning time, which will not be marked but may be used in borderline or appeal cases.
