11 Plus Entrance Exam: 2027 Entry

Format

Latymer Upper School sets its own 11+ exam papers in English and maths.

The exam consists of the following papers:

Maths (60 minutes)
- Section A is multiple-choice
- Section B is standard format
- Tests your child’s understanding of and ability to apply Key Stage 2 (KS2) national curriculum maths
English comprehension (35 minutes)
- multiple-choice
- This section tests your child’s ability to infer information and their grasp of vocabulary
English creative writing (45 minutes)
- Awards marks for good use of imagination, creativity, form, purpose, organisation, & sentence structure
