This school’s 11+ entrance exam is set by FSCE (Future Stories Community Enterprise), having moved from GL Assessment, and consists of two papers, both covering English and maths:
Adventure Paper – multiple choice, answered by shading ovals on a separate answer sheet
Beacon Paper – short written answers, one letter or digit per box
There is no verbal reasoning and no non-verbal reasoning, which is the biggest change from the old GL papers. All content is drawn from the Key Stage 2 curriculum taught up to the end of Year 5.
