This school is part of the Dorset Consortium. The 11+ exam for this school is divided into three multiple-choice GL Assessment papers:

• Maths (50 minutes)
  • The maths paper is based on the topics which candidates would normally cover in Key Stage 2 of the national curriculum.
• English (45 minutes)
  • This paper assesses a candidate’s comprehension, vocabulary and punctuation skills.
• Verbal reasoning (50 minutes)
  • Assesses your child’s language-based problem-solving abilities by testing their vocabulary, spelling, arithmetic, and pattern recognition skills.
  • This test is designed to analyse a pupil’s academic potential and does not depend upon prior knowledge.
