Admissions information for 2024 entry to Wycombe Abbey at 11 Plus (11+)

The school strongly recommends that prospective students and their parents attend one of their open events. Their next open event will take place on 16 September 2023. You can book and find out more information about this event on the Wycombe Abbey website. Please ensure you book this event early, as places tend to fill up quickly. There is also a virtual tour available here

This will allow you and your child to familiarise yourselves with the facilities, meet the staff, and ensure Wycombe Abbey is the right choice for you.

Wycombe Abbey is an academically selective school and every place is competitively sought after. The first stage of admission into Year 7 is an online Cognitive Abilities Test (CAT4), which will need to be sat at your daughter’s current school, a recognised test centre, or at a local British Council Office during November.

The second stage is an Assessment Day at the school, where candidates will have entrance exams in English and maths, an individual interview with a member of staff and will take part in small group activities.

Following the Assessment Day offers will be made in December 2023. The school makes this decision based on the results of the tests, the interview and group activities.
