Trinity School 11 Plus (11+) Exam Guide

Registration is available on Trinity’s website until October 2026; you can register via their registration portal. Following registration, your child will be invited to sit the school’s 11+ entrance exam in December 2026. If your child is successful in their exam, they will be asked to an interview with a member of the school’s teaching staff; the admissions team will let you know when this date will be, although it will not be long after the exam.

After the exams and interviews, decisions will be posted to parents in February 2027. The school hosts Decider tours before this date, in February 2027, to help you and your child make the decision to accept the offer. If your child is successful, and you want to accept the school’s offer, you must do so by early March 2027.

The school fees for Trinity School are £24,500 annually, which is exclusive of VAT and any other taxes, and does not cover school uniform, school lunches, sports and PE kit, external examination entry feeds, individual music and LAMDA tuition, and some non-academic trips. However, the school offers scholarships and bursaries through the Whitgift Foundation and Trinity Bursary Fund, meaning over half of their parents are not paying the full school fee.

Scholarships, which are not dependent on parental income, can reduce school fees by up to 50%. As long as your child continues to meet the standards for their scholarship, it will last throughout their education at the school. There are Academic Scholarships, which you are not required to submit a separate application form for as all 10+, 11+, 13+, and Sixth Form students will be automatically considered, and non-academic scholarships, including Music, Sport, Drama, Art and Design and Technology, which you will need to submit a separate application form for and your child will need to sit a separate assessment for. Scholarship assessments, as well as Academic Interviews, will be held throughout January 2027.

Bursaries, which are dependent on parental income, also require a separate application, although notably, your child may apply for both a bursary and a scholarship. Bursary support is offered through the John Whitgift Foundation and Trinity’s own additional bursary fund. Bursary applications are available from September 2026 until November 2026.
