King’s College School on Wimbledon Common admits boys into its Junior School at 7+, 8+ and 9+. At 7+, around 54 boys join Year 3, with roughly 14 more at 8+ into Year 4. From September 2029 the school will also admit girls at 7+ as it moves to co-education.

KCS has the earliest deadline of the big south-west London 7+ schools: noon on 18 September 2026. The written papers follow on Saturday 10 October, and shortlisted boys return for a classroom-based activity session on 2 November and a 20-minute interview, taken in pairs, between 3 and 10 November. Interview slots are fixed and cannot be moved.

Every place is awarded on individual merit, with no sibling priority, and bursaries begin at 11+. Offers arrive in November, with acceptance (and a £5,065 deposit) due by the end of January 2027.
